Prime Minister Scott Morrison: fix our NBN tower

For almost two years, the people of Donnybrook have missed out on decent internet while their NBN tower in Alice Street lay in pieces on the ground, collecting dust.

Malcolm Turnbull promised that we would have reliable NBN back in 2016. Fast forward to 2019, Scott Morrison is our Prime Minister and they can’t even fix the tower lying on the ground.

Since the beginning of 2017, there’s been a string of broken promises. First, we were promised the tower would be up-and-running ‘between January and March 2018’. Then we were told April 2018, which was further delayed to ‘between July and December 2018’.

Now, NBN have told us that construction is underway and the facility will finally go live on 19 March 2019.

After everything that our Donnybrook community has been through, we can’t trust the Liberals with the NBN. We now need to hold the Liberal Government accountable to its promises.

Add your voice to let Scott Morrison and the Liberals that the broken promises need to stop. We want our NBN tower switched on in March!

Dear Prime Minister

Back in 2017, the people here in Donnybrook were promised that the NBN tower would go live ‘between January and March 2018’.

After many broken promises, NBN has finally announced that the fixed wireless facility will go live on 19 March 2019.

Our community expects the Federal Government and its NBN Co to deliver on their promise to the people of Donnybrook.
